Poll: Old video cards anyone?

Im still running my old voodoo3 3000. I know most people ditched their voodoo3's over a year ago. Most people here have probably upgraded like 2 or 3 times since they ditched their voodoo3/tnt2 class cards. I would like to know if anyonw is still running old video cards, I feel like i'm the only one with an old video card

Don't feel bad. I just pulled my V3 3000 in May when I upgraded to a Kyro2. I usually upgrade every eighteen months or so.

im still running my voodoo 3 2000 agp. the 2d quality is quite good and since i dont play many games the card is all i really need. however, i am looking foward to purchasing an ati radeon all in wonder.

You guys all have practically new cards. Voodoo3 3000? That's practically cutting edge!

My best computer has an ATI Rage Fury Pro, another one has a TNT (original, not TNT2), and another one is struggling along with an Intel 740 card. And those are just the machines with AGP! Others I have use ATI Rage IIc (onboard), Trident PCI, and other assorted PCI 3D DEcellerators.

I sold my V3 2000 about a year ago to grab a GF2 MX. That V3 never gave me problems though. And that was on a K6-2 550 on an FIC PA-2013 based on Via's MVP3 chipset.

I'm running (2) old I740 AGP Starfighters....I have upgraded one of them recently to a Voodoo3 3K. I finally had some problems with the kids I740 and gameplaying. Good old reliable cards!!

I am using a PCI TNT2 m64 on my T-bird 900, and I have been pleased with it, but it never seems to quite get the job done. And I always feel like a PC like mine should have a more guts videocard.

i've been using a v3 2000@201, and i have been happy with it. they are good old cards, and certainly run UT well

Good old TnT 16meg card, i think like diamond viper 550, still works fine for cs and rts games on my 19" monitor.

I replaced my TNT card a few weeks ago with the Geforce2 Pro. That good ol' TNT served me very well, and was still holding up to Unreal Tournament nicely!

I just replaced my Diamond Viper v550 with an Elsa Gladiac 32mb gts about 6mths ago .

I took out my V3 3000 about 2 weeks ago replaced with a Radeon LE. The V3 served me quite well, no driver problem with it.

Well you are not the only one running old cards, still had a TNT2 running at the other machine and led my friend the V3. The permedia2 still around. So V3 no big deal, it runs good I would say.

One Voodoo2 1000 still in service and doing a fine job here. It's in an 'upgraded' HP K6-2 333MHz (originally a P120) that's slated to be 'passed down' to the kids in the next couple of months.

I have several "current" systems in my family. My main computer I upgraded from a V3 last December. But the V3 is still crancking out pixils in my dad's current machine. But I voted I was still using one.

the V5 or Radeon must be quivering in its socket when the Baldur's Gate screen comes up

I can't say I am one of you guys. Since my V3, I have had a TNT2, Diamond Viper 2, GeForce SDR, GeForce DDR, GeForce2 MX, GeForce2 64MB, and am about to go GeForce3. I play everything out there, and am a hardcore gamer, so I have to. The computer makes me do it.

i thought it was ok since CS is major 3d game i play but with lot o ppl and vortex2 calculatin 3d sounds it was not cutting it any more for me. now with 950 and radeon i get 60+ most of time ^_^

Still using a V3 2000 on the old pII 233 and using a 16 tnt2 on the new duron 800, and i prefer the v3...
cant wait to get a newer card, still debating on kyroII or g2 pro 32mb (similar price points).

My GF2MX just died on me a few weeks ago. Luckily (yeah right) I had a TNT in my old computer. I was able to take the card out and use it in my computer while I wait for the RMA to come in :/
