I believe Judge Kavanaugh is telling the truth, i'll give Dr. Ford enough credit that she thinks she is telling the truth, but memory can be a tricky thing, especially memories developed during therapy.

I think you're confusing what happened here with something like "recovered memories" which happens during hypnosis. That IMO is extremely suspect. It did not happen here. What happened here is she told a marital counselor about this event because she had to explain why she and her husband were arguing over her odd request to install a second front door in their house.

Since it's unlikely we have a case of mistaken identity here, given that she identified both Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge being in the same room with her, this is pretty clearly a situation where one is lying and the other is telling the truth.

Like most unbiased onlookers, I believe they are both telling the truth, according to what they believe/remember.

Unfortunately for her, she and the Democrats decided to politicize her painful expierence... Sitting on them until just the right time. In my opinion, this lessens the true nature of her allegations, even if true/accurate.

In the end, I found them both believable though, and as such (without actual proof), I must disregard her allegations as a means to an end.

With his prior/known drinking history at that age of 17 (illegal at that state), like most young men/women won't remember details of what really happened.

I can't say I like this kind of tactic very much, because I'm sure that every person can be caught during the heated discussion of any topic with a less than fully composed look on their face.

On the other hand, Kavanaugh was acting and speaking far from a manner of someone who should be able to remain calm and collected and capable of thinking before acting. Some people here talk about how he was smeared, but IMO he did a stellar job of smearing himself and torpedoing his own interview.

To me his most obvious lie was the explanation he gave for what the "Rebate alumni" line in his year book meant. That was pure BS, and I don't think even his most ardent supporters believed that.

It's not related to the incident with Prof. Ford, but it does go to show what kind of person he was at the time, and how honest he is being in the present.

As he said in the beginning of the video, If I were innocent, I would push for a thorough FBI investigation. Kavanaugh is certainly hiding something and afraid.

Kavanaugh seems like someone who has gotten whatever he wanted his entire life without any obstacles. Sure, he's really smart and a hard-worker, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of doing terrible things. He has probably worked his whole life to be a Supreme Court justice, and now that it's within his grasp but he's getting resistance, he's furious. Especially since it's resistance due to things he likely did. He's not used to being held accountable for his actions. He's a privileged piece of shit, and is likely more angered by getting denied what he wants than what this is doing to his family.

He won't even admit to binge drinking. What college kid (especially a popular college kid with lots of friends like Kavanaugh) has not binge drank to the point of either passing out or vomiting? You can be an extremely hard worker and 4.0-student and still get drunk, nobody cares. The fact that he feels the need to lie about something so small and inconsequential means he's lying about everything.

I hope he gets absolutely roasted by the FBI investigation.
