Not true. This is pretty much the problem with people these days. If you call someone out for being an idiot, someone (or possibly a lot of people) will turn on you instead of the person who actually deserves it.

Anyone over the age of 14 that actually uses the phrase "F-Bomb" is pretty suspect to begin with.

Given that the guys in the car were just leaving and the fact that he'd just used the sidewalk behind the car draws me to the conclusion that he was just being a drama queen.

We don't actually know if it impacted anyone negatively. It may have.

Anyway, pointing out their lack of awareness isn't a privilege reserved only for people who have been inconvenienced. Anyone should be able to engage in that conversation based on principle alone and they would be right to do so.

I feel too many here know they screw up all the time are are fearful to be called out in public on it.

For example: Someone leaves their shopping cart in the middle of the road. At the time no one is inconvenienced, yet it's very possible it will eventually roll into someone's vehicle. Get ran into by someone that didn't see it, etc. I would say something if I saw it happen (and have).
