When I first got the Internet to mee it seemed like the coolest thing since sliced bread, Well it's been 4 years now and I'm gettign bored with it. There is nothing new or exciting and It seems like everytihing is the same. Is it me or the novelty wearing out on all of you?

Arrange a face-to-face meeting....

When you go for it, and find a tree trunk, it will make that night exciting at least.........

I do tech support, and there aren't many calls during the summer. I've been using the 'net for 4+ years, and most of the time, I feel like I've 'seen it all', and would rather do anything other than think about it. Errgh... my boring life story revealed

I know that feeling, most of my internet time is spent on thinking what url i shuld type!

me too, just about all i use it for now is chatting and email. web pages are getting borring.

and lately there has been ATOT, but i have also been spending more time outside like i should be.

Like most, i assume you now have a daily regime of sites that you will visit. But after visiting those certain sites...the internet gets lame.

I have a small list of sites that i check every day (including anandtech) but other that that, the internet HAS become boring. Even IM's are starting to lose their novelty.

totally. i also have a few sites i check very often, but otherwise apart form that unless i have something particular in mind i find the internet gets pretty boring.
still addictive though!!

Started in June 96. It has been fun watching it evolve throughout the years.

To me it currently seems like electricity or telephones. It will be here forever, so if you get bored, it will be here when you get back.
