Poll: PowerDVD or WinDVD ???

I have been trying to get S/PDIF output from a DVD player forever in win2k. I have an SBLive and a Live Drive 2. I can do everything but get AC3 through... what should I try?

also where can we get winDVD 2.6multi?

PowerDVD 3 plays my DIVX'd AVI files which I have not been able to play with WinDVD26. Anyone know if it is possible to play AVI files with WinDVD ?? I prefer the sound and video of WinDVD but I have a few DIVX'd movies in AVI format so my vote goes to PowerDVD at the moment.

I myself prefer windvd its stable on my system also I have problems with the sound dropping out using powerdvd.Those Road Trip pics would be interesting by the way hows the movie I havent seen it yet.

Actually I decided to rip the 1 minute 24 second scene from Chapter 9 of the DVD if/when I can ever figure out the SmartRipper and Flask software.

I'm going to need someone who has around 100MB space to host the file? Any takers? PM or e-mail me.

The movie is hilarious, just like "American Pie".

I have both Power DVD 3.0 and WinDVD 2000, I'd go with Power any day, it has more customization abilities and it plays faster and clearer on my Cel566/TNT2 ultra/196

Do I qualify for any upgrades, or should I just use the Multimedia center that came with my Radeon?
