Poll: Presents, yay or nay?

I don't give presents and I don't like to get them. No one gives me presents except my roomate's family. If they keep it up, I'll just start donating them to charity. Getting presents makes me mad.

I belive that holidays are times for personal reflection, not stupid cards, gifts, and TV specials.

What do you think?

I give awesome presents! If you are a close friend or family member, your are getting HOOKED UP! If you are someone other than that don't expect much. I love recieving gifts, my friends usually give sweet ones, and my family usually gives me money.

I like to give gifts to friends and family. I find myself giving gifts most of the time as opposed to recieving them. If I had my choice between the two id rather give the gifts. The way I figure it is if im in a position to give the gifts, I should be thankful and do so.

I like to give presents more than receive. My brother & I always make a point to give presents to the children that live in our rental units. This year we expect to buy around sixty present ranging from toys to clothes to music. He requests lists from the parents and if we don't get them we personally visit each family before Thanksgiving. The wife & I really enjoy the Christmas we though for our tenants and watching the looks on the children?s faces when they open the presents.

I like to give and receive. My wife REALLY likes to give (gifts :Q ) . She buys gifts for people she has just met (or so it seems.) Anyway, I think it's a way to show someone you are thinking of them. It doesn't have to be expensive.

It's nice to know that you care so much about people that went out of their way to do something nice for you.
