When I first came on, and was a newbie, I really never understood why people said the "in before the lock" deal. I don't think I ever said it, instead I was saying how I thought the thread would be locked and then stating "..I smell a lock coming"
I also created threads and placed Poll: and didnt click on the selection "Create a Poll for this thread" thus explaining the title of this thread. Click on help, and learn how to post Polls. You don't need to type in "Poll:" cause when you click on the option before creating your thread, it adds it and then takes you to the poll section.
