I am from the north and deal with snow regularly. Like a major storm yesterday and another coming tomorrow. And rather than needing to grow up, people in my neighborhood grow brains and use a little bit of consideration and common sense. We don't run snowblowers at 5 or 6 am. I'll repeat, if the snow is so bad that you can't get out of your driveway without a snowblower call in sick. And if you can get out of your driveway without a snowblower, then do so. It's not rocket science.
I live in an area that averages 200"+ annually. I would never go to work by your theory. Snow plows typically come through between the hours of 3am-5am. No effen way I'm going to shovel a two or three foot tall snowbank by hand. I also live next to a city owned parking lot. Backup alarms are constantly going off between 2-3am after days of heavy snowfall. I'm not here to bitch about life, I live in snow covered solitude. But when snow needs to be moved, it gets done, regardless.
welcome to the forums!
Do you like beef?
You should jump in a lake. Is there one close to you?
Where was my welcome?
They're all froze, with the exception of Lake Superior.
what about the ice wall the snow plow leaves behind? That stuff is pure ice and if it has been sitting there all night it is almost solid ice. I ain't shovelling that shit.
go chump in da lake.
4am and you have to ask? Dick move. Shoveling snow is not that big a deal. Shovel what needs to be done to get your car out and let people who wake up later do the snowblowing.
Nobody likes a douche neighbor.

Yes, that's my hometown. 80 miles away now.
Seriously? Stockholm gets like - what - 6" of snow a year? I got that last night and it was only a light snowfall. An average winter around here is about 120" inches of snow. Plus, driveways in Europe are tiny.
A douche neighbor is someone who's laying in bed bitching about someone who is outside working.
I would love to only have to shovel a little and then leave for work. But guess what? Then I would have to get up at 3am and then you'd be bitching about me outside making shoveling noises.
