Poll: should I try pot?

I'm 19 years old and I've never smoked anything in my life. I've gotten drunk a few times. I like to have wine with dinner. That about summs up my experience with 'drugs'. Should I try pot?

Maybe you should keep your brain intact. No. Any threads advocting drug use of any kind are not welcome here.

I won't say no, because I know people who smoke blunt after blunt every day and make it through college with a 3.98 GPA. I won't say yes either because I've had friends who had really really bad experiences with the stuff.

I've never tried it personally, and I never plan on it. I don't need to stick flaming leaves in my mouth to have a good time. But to each his own, and if you try it and like it, enjoy but don't let it get in the way of more important things in your life.

That's the same thing that I've noticed, some people still do great in school, get great jobs, while others don't do anything but smoke.

It is like making a left turn on a yield sign, if you have second thoughts, don't do it. Also depends on your will power. Can you enjoy the experience without turning it into a habit? How can a bunchas people you have never met tell you what is right for you?

In moderation, most things are okay. Just don't get addicted, don't screw up anything, and don't forget to be by a fastfood place when you are smoking, cause you will have the worst case of the munchies and cotton mouth that you ever could imagine

It's soley your decision. People will say you will get addicted or it's really harmful, but that's just not true. There is no chemical addiction, and unless you are just a completely weak person in no way will it ruin your life. Smoking it is no worse than a cigarette. And has no long term affects as long as you don't over due it for 5 years. Like smoke everyday. Honestly, if you haven't and you really don't care, i would say don't worry about it. It's not that great. if you like trying new things and have a few friends that you would like to chill with. then give it a shot. Just don't start smoking it all the time. That's bad. If you do, just be casual with it.
