I know two chicks who have had an abortion, in fact one of them has had two, and both them are fine.
Of course none of them liked it, but neither has any lasting troubles from it, , they're both doing fine now, and it's their choice.

Of course, abortion is hard on a woman, but that, in and of itself, says nothing about the problems posed for many women, for any of a number of valid reasons, by the alternative of completing a pregnancy.

You are simply not qualified to comment, and you won't know squat about it until you have personally been a pregnant 14 year old girl or any other female who has to live the rest of her life with the burden of an unwanted child, or the woman who has to risk death to continue a pregnancy.

Considering he holds among many dubious honors, the one of frying/needling the most people in his governship. By the way, they did a study in the usa and found about 5-10% of those on death row were innocent, this is with using dna evidence after the fact. It was also found that some of these people are sadly dead now. When madman bush was asked if he was confident everyone executed under his watch was guilty, he said.. well I'm sure you know what that cracker said.......

Better yet, what is he had a male family member that raped his daughter. Research has found that as many as 45% of teenage rapes and subsequent pregnancies are committed by family members. He plays the adoption card, but how many folks are lining up to adopt retarded babies?

Construction accidents kill a lot innocent people. Should we ban all new building?

If you think that policy should be predicated on the principle that not one innocent life should be lost, it should be.

listen: i know you want to believe abortion is murder...but truly, if i felt that the folks down the block were bringing kids in their home to ruthlessly murder them (and i wasnt just hallucinating, crazy-style) i would organize those people who also thought it was unacceptable in my area and we would put a stop to it. i dont necessarily mean forming pettitions, etc but actual action if it was murder. if the guy who lived next to me called saying "my kids are being murdered...i agreed to it...but they are being killed" i would like to think id kick his door in and do something. not pass judgement in passive agressive threads on anandtech.

The continual acknowledgement of only the mother's rights is pretty tired. Your use of one extreme case to justify 1.3 million abortions per year is equally ridiculous. Rape accounts for approximately 0.01% of all abortions (source, and that is only if you include women of all age groups. This is the equivalent of banning toasters because there's a 0.01% chance that you'll get electrocuted while using one. Therefore, your appeal to emotion is duly noted and summarily rejected.
