Go fuck yourself, my Rep. and many Republicans were elected to oppose Obamacare. They are doing exactly what they were elected to do, what they said they'd do and what their constituents want.

My my, did I touch a nerve? It's a shame you are too stupid to realize it when you are sold on a promise that is impossible to deliver, meanwhile that rep has a cushy job in Washington, and what does he have to do to get re-elected? Deliver economic development, school funding, or other tangible things that actually improve his district? Nope, he just has to come back and tell stupid sheep like you that he really will repeal the ACA if you elect him again, and you'll slurp up every last drop and send him back again. Congratulations on wasting your vote.

So at what point are you going to get mad and let loose one of your infamous profanity laced tirades that's indicative of angry democrat/progressive brain defect.

That was necessary to demonstrate that an elephant always remembers and dwell of every insult he has ever been exposed to. This dangerous mental illness has to be exposed before a sufferer can take any remedial action if by some miracle he or she could come to see the need.

But I shan't worry too much since I know I'm only as forgiven as you think you are. I guess in a pinch, I can, if need be, seek mercy elsewhere.

Not really. People didn't vote on ACA. They voted for a president. There is more than one issue. You're conflating issues, and calling a small majority a mandate for a single policy. That's a pretty big stretch.

You can try to nuance it whichever way makes you feel better. The man ran on a platform of delivering universal healthcare and delivered it. It does not matter how many Republicans voted for it, because the democrats had the majorities needed to get it through. As you have been witnessing with the latest tea party implosion, denying reality brings nothing but pain and disappointment. The Republicans should have taken their medicine, moved on, and focused on their future by tackling immigration reform and start widening their ever shrinking voter base. Instead, they have doubled down on stupid, and will now suffer for it in 2014.

You certainly have a way with words my friend.

It has nothing to do with nuance. You're making outlandish claims that a small majority voting on a platform that covers many things to be a mandate for one particular policy. You simply aren't operating in reality.

The only thing you demonstrate Moonie is that you believe circles, whether in the form of logic or conversation, are a valid substitute for truth.

Too bad you can't deny your liberal hate filled defect that has come out and can't be forgotten as it shows the true person you are rather that the psychologist you want to be.

According to your definition only policies that are agreed to by strong majorities of both parties are backed by a mandate, meaning the the only true mandate a politician brings to Washington is the mandate to name post offices. Bush based his campaign on lowering taxes, and delivered it. Obama based his campaign on the ACA, and delivered it. I dont know why you wish to argue semantics about it. The other party doesn't have to like it to make it legitimate. Whether you wish to accept it or not, ACA is law, and once it's baked in for a few years no Republican president that comes after will have the balls to attempt to repeal it.

Is this some kind of suggestion that I am on government assistance? Do you have a need to assume that I am in order to think less of me and more easily dismiss my arguments? I know it's uncomfortable when confronted with facts based in reality. Would it make you feel more comfortable if I told you I were black, or gay, or even both?

All this tells me is that you are a phony hate filled piece of shit who wants others to suffer your pain. But, you see, I already knew that and forgave you long ago. You can't be otherwise because you can't face what you are. It's much much easier for me to admit to such things because I know that I already feel I'm much worse than you can possibly imagine. You and me, we feel like the worst in the world. The difference is only that I know it and you have no idea how much knowing changes things. Much love from the Great Psychologist on Earth.

And here's a tip. You couldn't really be as bad as you feel yourself to be because the divine Moonbeam is talking to you. You may feel like a most worthless piece of shit on Earth but you fit nicely under my wing. So blow it out your ass you fucking retard because nothing's going to make me stop loving you. And that goes for all your insane dick-head, brain-defective friends too.

The only thing you demonstrate is that for your words to be true you would have to know what the truth is and that's what you didn't demonstrate. Now if you work really really hard to demonstrate the truth you may arrive at a great understanding, that the truth can't ever be demonstrated to those who don't already know it, which is, of course, why you didn't really demonstrate anything to me.

It may or may not be true, it doesn't matter right now, even though a majority of the population is against this BS. I think if its implemented people will agree it sucks. Then the ignorant mob will vote to get rig of it, my prediction. Trust me, they can't even get the website for Obama Care running.

I don't agree with the weak republicans who have a habit of abandoning the conservative base, our cream of the crop are behind this stand.

My friends liberalism is a religion, a faith, based on ideals that are against truth, history and common sense.

Wow, I think this is the sound of the Republican party cracking in two:
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Friday that he won't apologize for working with Democrats.

“If you paid any attention to my recent history, I’m not opposed to reaching agreements with this administration,” McConnell told the Lexington Herald-Leader.

He highlighted his role in striking deals with Vice President Joe Biden on the extension of the Bush tax cuts, the 2011 Budget Control Act and the fiscal cliff crisis late last year.

“I brokered all three of them with Joe Biden,” McConnell said. “I do not have the view that it’s inappropriate to talk to Democrats.”

McConnell noted that while he would prefer to have a Republican in the White House and a GOP-controlled Senate, he must accept the current circumstances.

“I’ve fully demonstrated that as much as I would rather have a Republican president and would rather be the majority leader of the Senate, I’m willing to work with the government we have — not the one I wish we had,” he said.

I actually consider myself a liberal. I believe in liberty.

Liberalism used to be a good thing, it helped the blacks at least in civil rights movement. Before that liberalism was a great thing, it meant rejection of Kings, representing people, in favor of industrialism, trade, etc.

I'm tired of black people being abused in this country, the democrats and liberals depend on them being poor. If you want to see what happens with entire democrat control of government, look at the cities where no republicans are to be seen.

I warn my friends, you are a liberal, I can no longer respect your intelligence. We can still be friends but your ideology is more of a religion, I can't get past this.

Yeh, look at who owns those cities & charges rent & interest from the residents, their Repub suburbs. Gaze in awe at what 30+ years of trickle down supply side economics have wrought.

What is the approval rate for the current (pre-Obamacare) health system?

Were people really happy with the first world's most expensive, inefficient, and disastrous health care system before anyone had ever heard of Obamacare?

Were Americans really happy with having tens of millions uninsured or underinsured?

Were they really happy with having hundreds of thousands of medical cost-induced bankruptcies every year?

Were they really happy living in terror of job (and thus benefits) loss?

Were they really happy with people dying for lack of health care and people's quality of life being worsened by our current health care system? Where they happy with people going without needed medication and treatment?

Were they really happy with private health insurance company death panels (where employees get commissions for finding ways to rescind sick people's insurance policies)?

To hear some people tell it, the pre-Obamacare system was fantastic.

This right here. The shutdown isn't going to hurt a single Tea Party Member, it will hurt the Republican party though. Sadly, what will probably happen is the more moderate Republicans will now be picked of by Democrats leaving an even more radicalized Republican party.

What I foresee happening is that moderate Republicans in mixed districts will lose in the primaries to Tea Party types. Then the "victorious" Tea Party candidates will lose the general elections.
