Uhm no.... the Middle class gets a very healthy savings and rebate... If any class really has to pay for it from your democratic point of view, it is the single income owners under 20,000 a year income.

Thousands? There is only 3 rebate checks going around 300/500/600. The top 1% do not get a 10,000 rebate in the mail. Sure they may save 10,000 on taxes next year, but they also pay 1,000,000 in taxes that same year



As for what I will buy with my Tax Rebate... I am thinking about a flatscreen CRT from sony at 21&quot;... But I am not sure it will be much better than my ViewSonic perfect flat 790 19&quot;.

Some people have to be inovative, to take risks.

They become the rich (and so do their family etc.).

Without them, life would not be quite as good as it is now. No Billy Gates, no windows. Sure windows isnt the greatest thing in the world, but it may have been several years before an alternative was marketed.

I don't even think its fair the rich pay a higher %, we should all pay the same tax %, with breaks going to the poor and families with children.

Just got a notice in the mail from the IRS today, saying that I would receive my $600.00 check during the week of July 30. My last two SSN digits = 14.

One the back it says:

$300.00: single or married filing jointly

$500.00: Head of household

$600.00: Married filing jointly or Qualifying Widow(er)

Also under each one it says OR 5% of your taxable income, or your income tax liability, which ever is less.

Just think this is our money that they are giving back to us. They create nothing but take more than their fair share and complain that they have to give some back. GOD I hate taxes. I earn 75K+ year and I get to keep less than 65% it is just not fair. Don't get me wrong I think they are good for somrthing I just don't know what.
