Before you vote, be aware Im conducting a poll on the "best" motherboard manufacturer, not your favorite manufacturer. Think twice, and please vote for the best manufacturer in your opinion.

I'm an Asus owner but I voted for MSI because they've been releasing solid, reliable, feature filled and low priced motherboards.

Intel

Seriously, they make the most stable P3 boards. For overclocking, I like Asus. For AMD setups, MSI is the only way to go, IMHO.

Im going to have to say Asus. I have heard great things about MSI recently. But my Asus has served me well and Im getting ready for another. And Ive read so much good about Asus for so long. So Asus, yep...that's my vote.

I was an Asus diehard until about a year and a half ago.

Tried an MSI, loved it, built a few more MSI's, loved them.

MSI rules, all around, for stability, overclocking stability, features, documentaiton and quality.

I had 2 bad experiences recently with Asus, the CUV4X and the CUSL2. Both had some rather serious annoyances related to voltage and temperature, so Asus just doesn't cut it anymore for me.

I have had good luck with Asus, Abit, and Soyo motherboards.

I have only had to deal with customer support with Asus and it SUX big time, so I am NOT going to recommend Asus!!! I hope, but do not know, that other motherboard mfrs. treat their customers better.

LXi- due to past influences, I got an MSI 815e Pro and love it! Thank you!

Anyways, Asus and MSI are both great board makers but the Asus will drive you alittle farther into the hole (moneywise). I do have an Abit board. My friend and I both bought the Be6-2 boards at the same time and they both had to be rma'd straight out of the box, but when we got our new ones they were perfect for almost a year now.

I like Asus and MSI but voted MSI because I feel they are making some of the best and most stable boards out there. I have owned 5 or more MSI's now starting way back with my first P75 and all have been first rate and still work fine in other systems.

MSI. It's my favorive manufacturer, but I'd also like to argument that it's the best one.

Their recent boards have all been rock solid, and they're considerably cheaper than Asus boards which while excellent as well, have that brand-manufacturer extra cost put into them. Not wishing to downplay Abit and Asus, MSI is the one manufacturer that in my book has really put Athlon platform up there with Intel P6 one in terms of stability&compatibility and affordability. They're always among the first manufacturers with a board for any new platform too.
