ok, its a 1984 toyata corrola i got it when i was 15, woth prob around 2500, only paid 500 for it. my sister cut me a deal.. i am 2 now, and male

EDIT- oops i forgot to say the transmission stopped working a few years later. it wouldnt go into 3rd gear or reverse. i had to stick my foot out the door and back it up flintstone style. the tranny was gonna cost me 600 to fix. i figured i only paid 500 for it so i sold it to some guy for 450 who only had a tranny .

here is a pic of it. it was infront of my high school parkking lot.

memories........

I was 17, had a 1985 LeBaron GTS with 107k on it, drove it for 4 months parked it, then a couple months after that drove it for 2 months as a winter car, and the transmision is basically pouring out fluid (111k). Oh well ditched it in the backyard for now, driving my 89'Stang now and again. I'm 18 now, male.

I'm still driving my 1995 Dodge Stratus, my first car. In real good shape too.. low mileage for the age. (60k)

I'm lucky though. One of my friends' first cars was a $50 Hyundai that he bought and we wrecked out in a field. But.. it wasn't exactly daddy's Beamer if ya know what I mean.. so nobody really cared. One of my friends is on his 3rd car so far, just cause his parents think he "needs" a new one every year and a half or so. I don't quite get it, but whatever. Mine's still faster than his Jetta.

edit: I'm a guy, got it when I was 16, I'm now 18 in about 2 weeks.. no damage, new dings, accidents.. go me.

It was a 1960 Corvair I owned in about 69-70. (Paid $50)...worth?? Probably around $50!

I made the mistake of having the High School Auto Shop "work" on it. (my age at the time..16) Age now....you do the math!

After the "repair" (and it no longer ran) I left it there and it eventually got stripped. (owned it about 6-7 months)

Wish I still had the motor. I'd drop it in my second car. (VW Squareback)

I'm a GUY

'99 Mercury Sable - roughly $12,000

Age: 16
Age now: 18
Had the car for a year
Female.
An F350 happened to it, driven by a 17 year old male who was "looking at the Corvette that was going the other direction" when I stopped behind another car at a light. Didn't scratch his truck, totalled my car.

You need an option for, it was totalled by SOMEONE ELSE, I didn't total my car.

Camaro (laugh all you want )

Sitting at a red light. Big van on my left (5 lane street (2 each way and a turn lane)). Light turns green. Pull out, can't see on the other side of the van. Gentleman (well that's a nice word. Let's call him sorry fvck) with a car full of kids runs his light (across 5 lanes? are you insane?) and hits me where the door closes doing about 45. Threw one of his kids from the car, and really messed up his back. He of course didn't have insurance. I had uninsured motorist so I was good. Car held up like a champ. I really wish I had pics of it.

When he hit it pushed the car into a traffic light pole, those things are pretty sturdy. Car looked like a V from the top. Totaled the car. Never found out what happened to him, didn't really care at the time. Unfortunate that his kids were with him and not buckled up :|

What happened to your very first car?: Totalled by my sister. I came back from a two-year stint in Korea for the U.S. Army, and after hugs and greetings, my father said, "Hey Glenn, do you remember your car?" Not exactly the words i wanted to hear.

I kept the car till it hit about 110 miles(Got it with 56k). I ended up trading it in for $900 twords a '97 Monte Carlo Z34 w/ 11,000 miles on it. I've still got the Monte Carlo, but my fiancee drives it.

The only damage that the Grand Am incurred during my possession of it was during a nasty storm when a piece of awning was ripped off the apartment building that I was living in and landed on top of my car. Put a nasty scratch and a small dent in the roof of the car.

The only good part is it caused my truck no damage both times, and he tore his hood and smashed up his quarter panels in is Cutlass Supreme

Death by cross country road trip. Had 147k miles on it when I left Santa Cruz CA. Drove to Las Vegas, Boulder CO, Palm Beach FL, Washington DC, NYC, Back to Colorado, and back to CA.

When I got back the heat didn't work, the driver's side window wouldn't seal, the grill was taken out (by a giant fricking tumbleweed blowing across the freeway in CO), the CD player was broken, the parking brake didn't work, and the truck was 10x over the limit to pass smog. Still ran great, all 4 speeds worked great

Would have needed a new motor to pass smog though, so I sold it to the scrapyard for $50. Was a good truck while I had it.
