Poll: toilet paper position?

on the simpsons i heard someone (i think a foster parent police personwhen they were saving bart and lisa from the "negligent parents") said that the simpsons' "toilet paper is in the incorrect overhead position."
i'm guessing "overhand" would look like p| where "p" is the toilet paper roll with some of it hanging down and the "|" is the wall
and i guess that means "underhand" would look like q| where "q" is the toilet paper roll with some of it hanging down and the "|" is the wall

why is one better than the other?

i prefer overhead... it looks weird underhead... or whatever you call it. actually i don't care as long as there IS toilet paper.

I put 2 or 3 rolls of tp on top of the toilet. Pick it up, spin off what you want and put it back. Who needs to actually take the time to put on a roller?

Last week at the grocery store I got one of those really huge packs of toilet paper. You know, the ones with like 1000 rolls in there, or however many there are. 24 I think, but whatever. But anyway when i got to the register and the checkout girl rang it up, the packaging had a big rip in the side. She asked me if I wanted her to get it exchanged for another one, and I said don't bother, because I'm just going to wipe my butt on it anyway. She got really embarrased and turned really red. She was kind of cute, if a little bit chunky. I think she's totally falling for me now. Check me out, I'm such a stud.

Whenever I make the mistake of putting it overhand one of the cats will get to it, and there goes the whole roll.

If it's reversed they can't do the "walking" with their front paws on it so they don't unravel the whole thing.

Overhand is better. When the toilet paper is in the underhand position, sometime the end of the roll gets stuck to the rest of it so you have to like search for it and it makes it harder to tear a peace off. If it's in the overhand position, you just keep swatting at the roll until the end piece comes unattached. It's just so much easier. Plus if you have poo on your hand and the toilet paper is in the underhand position, you wouldn't want to get poo all over the place just looking for the end

I can usually tell when this happens, but sometimes I sniff.
