Kotchy: USPS is no longer run by any government facility, they are their own company now. They are far better then ups and dont lose stuff, also they do have tracking.

Your own poll pretty much tells the story......USPS is a MUCH more reliable, quicker, and less expensive way to ship than UPS! Now of course EVERY shipper is going to lose, misplace, damage, etc. a certain percentage of their shippments but, overall USPS has the best delivery and customer satisfaction rating in the business! Hey, if you don't like them......there are "other" choices!

They have the worse customer service! Why would u have to wait 30 days to claim something lost when it was sent 2-3? thats like saying u pay extra for 2-3 service, yet it might take 30 days, wtf, and they cant trace it!

lol, they do have good service but this is the 2nd time in 2 months that this has happened to me (i sent the stuff to KotchY), and about a month ago it happened, but the package got there eventualy (about 3 weeks)...I just wanna know whats happening / where the stuff is.

In YOUR situation it is.....most of the time.....it's great! Things happen every day.......Just chill and wait, that's all you CAN do! If you think UPS tracking is the get all......think again! When I finally stopped using them completely, I had lost 7 packages in a 6 month time frame! In the last year and a half (since I switched exclusively to USPS), i've lost..... 1!!! When I did lose the one package, I refunded the guys money, files the paperwork for the Insurance, and collected my money three weeks later! (after the 30 days) Now I agree that 2-3 day isn't always 2-3 days.....but neither are any of the rest of them, unless you pay EXTRA for it!

3 weeks after 20 days, thats almost 2 months! so if lost i will hagve to wait for over 2 months for my money!

........same as every other carrier........In Some USPS Guys System Or Sold For $$$$$ Hell, UPS actually has Auctions several times a year for all the &quot;Lost&quot; items they find in their wharehouses that their own people don't carry off!

You can't blame UPS for high shiping prices. Every computer joint on the net makes their money off shipping. Some time after you get a pakage from where ever, go to UPS shipping calculator. Enter the dementions of the box and the weight. It cost $15 to ship a stick of ram. Yeah, maybe if the box it came in was plated with gold!

i've never had a problem with USPS. I have had lots of problems with UPS. UPS beats anything made out of brown cardboard to a pulp. I watched as the UPS guy threw, literally, a box out of the back of the truck. It landed 20 feet away. The kicker?...it had the words &quot;EXTREMELY FRAGILE&quot; printed all over it. You want to know what it was? Six $250ea. lead crystal vases for the shop I work at. Haven't seen that UPS guy around since. Almost every box we receive that is shipped through UPS has holes ripped in them, or damaged merchandise inside. FEDEx is better, but not by much and RPS is just a bit better than FEDEx. I'll stick to USPS priority mail...$4.50 to ship a 3lbs. package across the country in 3 days. Can't beat it with a big stick
