Poll: What do you find gets you the nicest drunk feeling?

Wine. Hard liquor, especially when mixed, is too much too quick. I'm a light drinker too, so a shot without food padding my stomach is enough to buzz me pretty good.

The most F'd up feeling is anything on your list + 1 capful of GHB.

My friend almost got raped with that shit... and dude it was not funny.
Lucky for her, me and my friends found her as it was starting to take effect.

She ended up passing out in my arms as she was saying hi.
The dude who gave her the GHB was never found.

But after seeing her that night, i could totally see why its called a date rape drug.

The hospital told us she probably didnt take no more then a tiny cap full also.
Blah... that was a buzz kill night, but glad my friend was ok the next morning.

I'm going with beer on this one. White wine will give a nice drunk also, but for some reason it just feels better with beer.

Bourbon and scotch are tops.
Vodka is fine and predictable.
Beer and wine I mostly drink for the flavor.

I say wine...gives you that more "high" light headed feeling than anything else does...beer takes too long and is too filling where as liquor just makes you wasted...whats the fun in that? Give me two bottles of cheap wine and its a fun night!

i actually like the high (10-12%) beer in a 24 or a 40oz. start the evening with two shots of hard A, then finish with a 40.....makes for a good night.

I generally follow a pattern. Grab a beer when I show up to get started, have a couple shots, then maintain with beer+shot hourly rotation til it starts dying down, when I finish my beer and switch to water

my hangover cure:

after a night of drinking...
- eat a fatty meal (the fattier, the better... like a steak 'n' shake frisco melt)
- take some coenzyme q10
- drink a couple glasses of water before bed (have a glass of water ready for when you wake up)
- drink your glass of water
- have sex (or love yourself, whichever's possible)
- take a shower with the hot water hitting your upper back and neck region for 15 minutes or so
- grab a fruit smoothie (anything with banana for potassium)

the goal is to have your body digest the alcohol at a faster rate and stimulate your sympathetic nervous system so that it keeps the blood from swelling in your head, causing the hangover headache

Incidentally that is also the cure for leprosy, tuberculosis, cancer and anything else that ails you.

Over what time period. Over several days, many hours or a few hours? I used to be able to drink 750ml of hard liquor. I would be plastered like mad and not remember much of the night but I could do it. But I was drinking it over like 40-50mins and I weighed a lot more than I do now. I probably couldn't handle that much any more and don't want to find out to be honest with you.

I had two meals within this time so I would say, from around 6 to midnight. I don't do that often.

They're all the same but beer lets me know how much I've had by how full I am. It also limits me that way. And I really like to drive a lot, and so I almost always limit myself to a single drink. And that means sipping a beer.
