I am 50% Frog (French Canadian) and 50% Ukrainian. I am second generation Canadian.

The Ukrainian side tends to be dominant in our family though; the males are big and females tiny.

I see no point in discussing that in an online forum. One of the beautiful things about the Internet is that it helps eliminate the things that divide us. Identifying your ethnicity, even your gender shouldn't be necessary in most contexts. If I reveal every little thing about myself I expose myself to everyone's prejudices. Fuck that. I read an article the other day. It's become pretty cheap to find out. For around $100 now you can have your DNA analyzed and they will tell you the percentages. A lot of the people who do so are finding out that they were fed fibs about their ancestry.

Nobody is entirely unbigoted, but I'm not very. I see awesomeness all over. I have no reason to believe that there are any ethnicities of humans on the planet that aren't capable of the highest achievements and experience. I am not really curious to know my ancestral roots in all its declensions. What does it matter? To me, not much. To you, what would my ethnicity matter??? Cultures, traditions, those things can be very meaningful, but I do not believe that a person's genes have much to do with those.

I always wondered where man first lit his first fire though. I know it's somewhere in Africa. I would love to go back in time and see that moment. From that point on, it was fire its self that stuck us on the moon.

As for as origins, I'm actually not sure. Irish I think... but honestly not 100% sure. Would feel weird to ask family now... I suppose it's something I should know, and have known a long time ago.
