it is sickening that TOS only got 3 votes. You people are all morons. TNG was a great show, and I can understand some people voting for TNG, but I can NOT fathom what people would vote for DS9 or Voy over TOS. Since when did they allow mental patients to access the internet? Just goes to show that kids these days have no respect for their past, and their perspective only goes back 2 years.

I agree with the rest of your post, though.

I've got all episodes of TNG burned on CD's, yet none of any of the other series. Guess which one I like the most?

BTW, I've seen much of the DS9 and just about everything of the Voyager episodes, yet I find TNG to be the most 'realistic' series with the best characters.

Voy SUX, never saw TOS, ENT might be good, but it doesn't look very promising.

i grew up watching the original series so that's still my favorite. i don't know why but i still enjoy yhe cheesy acting and terrible special effects and none of the series have ever replaced the trio of kirk, spock and bones. a close second is TNG. i've seen some of DS9 but found it boring and i've never seen the other two.

I've been watching DS9 on space channel last couple of months.
Single episoide plots sometimes border on idiotic, but the ongoing story is quite good.
Some of the worst lines from DS9:

#1 Bjorn husband talking about Dukat's baby "(wait a second) That's not my baby!"

#2 Garack: "We're cardassian!"

1) Female officers in really short skirts
2) Pasty pastel colors
3) Klingons without ridges
4) Aliens that look like Haloween costumes
5) Computers with funny, unlabled buttons that make funny whirling noises



Oh yeah, and Captain Kirk beat the sh!t out of anyone who got in his way.

Enterprise is pretty good too.

I love the Marathons..man I'm in heaven when TNN plays a Marathon.


The new TNN is pretty good in my books. Don't think I'd really ever watch TNN before, but since they started playing buttloads of TNG it's probably my favourite channel



But those bastards played half of the best of both worlds last night....and I have no idea when the conclusion is...(they have 2 or 3 episodes/day...)

Edit: In case you're like me and don't know the titles, the "Best of Both Worlds" is the one where Picard gets captured by the Borg. The only reason I know this one is because it was just on last night. And it's one of my favourite episodes.

The first season or two were kinda dull, but I'd like to see it all just so I could get everything in...and the dominion war theme was awesome...I'd definately like to see that in order.

In regards to your last sentence. I know what you mean, I'd also like to see those DS9 episodes in order ... to see how they build up to the climax of the Dominion war, blah blah blah.

RossMan, tonight on TNN (according to my friend's TV Guide):

The Picard vs Riker War Games episode is on at 5pm PST.
The second half of Picard getting captured by the borg is on at 8pm PST.

You should get it...it's a fairly widespread channel I would think. Used to be called "The Nashville Network" (the "NEW" TNN is The *national* network to dodge their old image I guess).

If I get it up here in my Igloo, you should get it down there...I'm farther from Nashville than you are.

I remember reading on their website (www.startrek.com) that TNN will air DS9 episodes in a few years but definitely not now. At least 2003. Can't wait for the new Star Trek movie: Nemesis, Romulans play a major role! Finally!
