I'm a big UT fan, and Tribes 2 sucks IMO. Too slow, "big" I guess.

Too slow????? Get on a REAL server (meaning one that doesn' suck). You could also try the Arena or (the one one where you collect multiple falgs off deaed ppl) modes.

10:10!! They did not improve much from the first Tribes but it is still one of the best 3rd person shooters ever! I recommend this game for all.

Well after getting a good system, I like Tribes 2. There's still a bunch of problems, most which aren't being addressed in the next patch.

Most annoying is like 5fps during some parts of levels. Posted here, Tribes 2 forums, and like 2 other places with no help.

ALOT of people really hate it saying there's all these errors and crashes. The only problem like that that I've had was a UE error when I used the mwheel to scroll weapons but they fixed that a couple patches ago.

I have no problems and mostly good framerates. 800x600x32 on a Radeon 32DDR there are a LOT of textures so 64mB helps here. I'd like to see how a kyro runs it since I would imagine there is a BUNCH of overdraw.
