I like the Lightning Gun with the Sniper view on it. I like to find a spot to hide and pick people off. Haven't seen the actual sniper gun since I don't think it's in the Beta... Or maybe I've just never found one.


As for vehicles.. I can't get the hang of the one with the two turbines that just kind of floats. I love the Tank though. That thing rocks!

Play assault and you will get the original sniper rifle.
Also... the manta is mostly for running over infantry... PANCAKE! You can harass tanks by strafing around them faster than the turret can track you... Watch out for scorpions though, they pwn mantas.

Didn't they tone down the power ? I can't seem to get a 1-shot kill anymore... not even headshots... (I was a headshot whore in UT). There's also a very slight delay on-click also (not talking about re-load).

I like the lightning gun...
You can still get 1 shot headshots as long as the target doesn't have a shield.

It's also great for killing those pesky raptors!

First, when you snipe, I don't want people knowing where the hell I am. The big freakin' lighting bolt kind of gives away my position. :|

Secondly, you've got to wait for it to recharge. The gun was obviously put in because people were pissed off at people sniping. But sniping is a part of the game.

I'm just glad they brought back the sniper rifle.

It looks like they added smoke to the sniper rifle. So after you shoot, smoke goes all around you....giving away your position.
