That's why it's so easy for gov't to sell you bad ideas.
If we allow government to govern the economy, does it not become your duty as a voter to have an understanding of economics? How are you supposed to know who to vote for?

Actually it is only possible to sell you bad ideas. All that the government has to do is sell you what your education has taught you to be true. It is impossible to sell me anything because I know I don't know what is true. You are the believer, not me.
Of course I know one thing and that's that I do not know, and what I know about not knowing is that I also don't know the future. I know that anything I have ever believed about the future can change with any unanticipated event so I don't tell myself I know anything. Another thing I know about economics is that people who know that subject well are unimaginable wealthy. They know what will happen tomorrow and buy into it today making trillions. And the world, of course, is just jammed full of such people. They write books on how to get rich which are a dime a dozen. Sadly, I don't pay any attention to them either since I learned in economics that if you really want to make money wright books.
And I don't have the problem you do being so ignorant. I'm a nobody so it's easy.

My ignorance started way before that. I knew so little I would not have invaded. Bush knew it would be a cake walk. That's why he invaded. He had Neocon clarity.

And Greenspan and Bernanke have Keynesian clarity.
No difference.

And you can throw Paulbots in there.

Ahh, but that's the difference, Moonbeam. You can't. We don't claim to know, we only claim that you don't either.
