Long wait if you want it legal. However given your mental state, you may luck out to qualify for state approved MMJ.
please elaborate on this 'mental state' that you speak of. :hmm:

He was given therapy and pain killers which helped with the pain but he still had trouble sleeping. Six months ago he started using medical marijuana to help deal with his problem,. He is now off of the pills, feels more active and can now get solid rest at night. He is straight as an arrow, religious and a family man. There have been some posts here implying that marijuana use indicates some sort of mental problem. I think there is a lot of propaganda out there that prejudices people against medical use of marijuana.
Regardless of whether one has or hasn't, why the hell would you brain dead idiots post about it online, in what essentially becomes a permanent record, knowing that potentially, there's a future employer who is going to do a thorough background check on you and simply toss your resume in the out pile - not necessarily for using, but rather for being such a dumbass that you don't see the problem here.
You think I'm going to tell future employers that I use the name "coldmeat" on an online forum? There is nothing connecting me to my alias on this forum besides my IP.
No. I don't even know where to get it even if I wanted to. I guess I just drive around looking for shoes over a power line and start knocking at doors? "Hey, do you have some weed, oh ok my bad, wrong house"
God no. My roommate rolls joints in our dorm room (shh, don't tell anyone) and the smell of it is so incredibly repulsive..
almost forgot, I don't know where to get it, I have no intention of finding out, I'd rather spend the money elsewhere, and I just can't imagine wanting to put that shit inside of my body. ugh..
oh, and I support legalization; I don't see why not as anyone determined to get their hands on it can already do so, plus the potential benefits of taxing it, etc are huge.
Fourth edit...I don't need drugs to make me happy

Dude, you like totally just posted your internet name on the internet now. You're so busted!

Because:
1) Jobs aren't everything. In fact, to some people they're nothing.
2) What's right matters more than what is...and what's right is for businesses to mind their own damn business.
3) Anything which stifles the free exchange of information is a negative for all mankind.
I have no problem with people that don't want to do it just because. I don't like cigarettes. I don't like salt. But to be self-righteous about it and belittle people that like to do it, go away.
You can't miss anything you've never had.
When you take into account cost, side effects, and overall effectiveness MJ has a number of uses that easily trumps conventional "legal" drugs. It's funny because when my wife was going through pharmacy school one of their classes had a fun little side project where they did a compare/contrast between weed and normal pharmaceuticals that are clinically prescribed and in several very common situations the weed was actually the best suggestion for the persons problems.
