Poll: Will I see Fellowship of the Ring twice?

I saw it twice on opening day and I found I liked it better the second time because I was comparing it to the books as much and just enjoyed it.

Also, all you LOTR fans...he ain't writing any more books.
I was prepared to HATE Potter, but..uh, the books are good.
If you are a LOTR fan, you will enjoy Potter.

The only fantasy books I've read is the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind which I loved. I went to see LOTR last night with a tight group of friends, and I had an awesome time and very much enjoyed the movie. I want to see it again though. How can anyone be content with seeing such a movie once? That's ridiculous. Most good movies require multiple viewings to get most of it. Especially a movie that has so much in it like Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. I bet the movie doesn't do the book justice, but I will have to read that for myself some time. But I do really want to see the movie again, so I can understand more and better.

And I really don't wan to see it again in the theaters because the Picture Quality sucked ass. I don't think it was the movie but rather my movie theater. It was blurry as hell. Of course I'm probably PQ spoiled with my HDTV.

The last movie I actually saw twice in the theater was Pulp Fiction. I am going to see LOTR tomorrow, and if I like it a lot, I will probably try to see it on the big screen at least one more time.

A: Probably....saw it the first time with my wife on opening day - my parents & sister are coming down to spend Xmas with us - can probably convince them to go see it too... hehe.

And while Harry Potter was a good, entertaining movie, Fellowship kicks its butt... Finally a well-done, serious fantasy movie!!! Yay! Not your run-of-the-mill cheesy sword & sorcery crap.

I'm going to Coronet in SF to see it next time. It sucked ass where I saw it. But I don't know if I can sit through it again. My ass was hurting by the time the get to Moria.

Also, there was a dark line which ran through the middle of the screen (and was part of the actual screen)! It was a new theater too.

It sucks especially with what these theaters charge!:disgust:

I will definately see it again. As for it beating harry potters record, I am pretty sure that it will do that. Some guy at entertainment weekly doesn't think it will break 200 million though. I would have to say that he doesn't know what he is talking about.

you should have complained, at the very least they'd look into it, and if your lucky you'll get a refund.
