Well that's a little vague. If I were a billionaire, I'd probably want to continue working, but I wouldn't request compensation, so that would be like volunteering, wouldn't it? I'd probably work or volunteer on a very small time basis; I'd spend most of my time traveling.

Ive done the daytrading thing for over 10 years and I would say it was the biggest waste of life ever. You'll speculate your way all the way to the poorhouse. I wouldn't work at all for several years at first. With a whole lifetime ahead of me I imagine I'd have to do something eventually though. If I found something I was really interested in I would probably work full-time+ on it whether I was getting paid for it or not.

No i would just take up hobbies to occupy my time. Like woodworking or something. I could then sell or give away my goods. But i would never work for someone else as my boss again.

If I had Bill Gates-type billions I'd maybe start a charitable foundation and run it from my private island in Tahiti. Plus I'd travel a lot.

I didn't work for a month one winter break in college and went bored out of my mind.

if I had enough money where I never had to worry about my financial future again, I'd probably just do volunteer work part-time or maybe start my own business (without the pressure of having to run a business that makes money... I could see running a book store or something at a loss just for fun)

HELL NO would I work. I have two hobbies that already keep me plenty busy that would keep me even more busy if I didn't have to work and had the money to do what I wanted.
