Since the cold winter is upon us, I put out the winter hay for the dog to sleep in when he is outside. Tonight I saw the mice running around.
We have empty fields on either side of your house, and last winter the mice showed up, but the dogs caught them all, or so I thought. When I moved the dog house and cleaned up the hay this spring, I found 3 tiny baby mice under the dog house. I threw them in the field next door and let them fend for themselves....apparently they did quite well, and have come back to nest in the hay again.
So you, ATOT, get to decide their fate.
Let the mice live in peace and share the hay with the dog, surviving together in some sordid Charolette's web type of adventure.....
OR
Make the nasty little things die a horrible death in a mouse trap, being lured there by the sweet, sweet smell of lucious food.
