Not crapping on this deal, since I am well over $200.00 in promos from this type of deal. Guess they finally figured out we were just in it for the money since they are limiting it to the first 1000. VERY easy way to make 50.00 as the salesmen don't want to waste their time anymore than you want to waste yours. Tell them your intentions and they will probably just sign off on the form.

This has been running since June 22nd, do you think they have hit 1000 submissions by now?
The Amex GC is pretty cool, nice way to pad your DVD collection.


Then again, can they actually find 1000 people who would be WILLING to drive one of these?

I wonder how they even got that car that far into production before they found out they produced a *dog*. It's the most hideous thing I have ever seen on 4 wheels this past year.

I guess no ones actually tried to buy it yet, but once you go for the test drive you will find out what I am about to tell you. You get $50 just to test drive it, BUT, they give you an additional $25 for every consecutive hour you spend in the car. Also, should you decide to buy it, they pay you $2500 for every year you own it, up to 5 years. After five yours you must keep it with no incentives, the only downside.

I read somewhere (supposedly a true story) that a guy in an Aztek stopped to help someone on the road and called 911 for assistance. The rescue team arrived promptly and started using the Jaws of Life to cut up the Aztek, thinking this was the vehicle in a crash.

lol...that's funny.

I believe it was said in an article from Car and Driver that they will be redesigning the Aztek by adding more flair to it for next year's model. The Chief designer said that they will be changing out the front to make it look more appealing. Wonder what more the can do to the car short of beating it to death.

Whatever they r smoking, that is some good sh*tuff...
I heard it is the only car ever that will undergo a facelift in the first year of production..

Be nice. I happen to have owned an Aztek since November. The thing was so ugly I had to drive It. I traded in my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT on the spot. The Aztek has a much nicer ride and the interior is wonderfull. They call it a SUV....all my friends say that stands for Super Ugly Vehicle. I am not dissapointed and would buy another one.

I met the chief engineer for the Aztek and the guy was actually PROUD of it! Drive around a GM parking lot and you will find these sitting everywhere since they can't sell them. Kicker was the other day when I went outside to run, I see a car coming down the street with the big &quot;Student Driver&quot; warning on the top. Usually, they are driving stripped down Neons and Cavaliers. Sure enough, kid was learning to drive in an Aztek. Wonder if they teach him how to use the tent?

And the real shocker is that GM/Pontiac toured/surveyed well over 300 college campuses with the Aztek, and it got highly favorable reviews/comments, incl. over 73% &quot;approve of/like&quot; the design.

Hardly. In fact, most cars undergo significant engineering changes every year. A &quot;facelift&quot; is not a major redesign, despite what some car magazine might tell you.
