Please forgive me for my ignorance, but is Pontiac really as 'bad' as it's hyped up to be? Around here, Pontiac has a bad reputation in terms of reliability. Many of the people I've talked to have mocked their product lines.
Now, I currently drive a 2003 Dodge Neon. It's nothing fancy, but I do have alloy rims!!! (SXT model, yay!) Haha, all joking aside, I drove a friend's G6 last fall and I really loved it. A lot. Great engine sound (to me) and seemed to be very quick.
Looking at those G8 pictures made me salivate. A lot. I love the sharp angles, similar to that of Cadillac. To me, it just screams sexy.
I graduate this spring and am looking to buy a new car. Tired of the cramped Neon and I'd like a bit more engine, too. Is Pontiac worth looking at or are the rumors of their reliability true? I am assuming the G8 is out of my price range, so I'd be looking at a used G6 likely.
My dad had a 68 El Camino SS that had over 500HP. I think that looked really sexy, but I can't really get into the new design too much. Maybe it will take some time. On second thought, I think my dad's El Camino said Chevrolet...or was it really a Pontiac!?!? I really wish I knew half as much about cars as I do computers!
Thanks,
~Travis
