Not the greatest quality but not much I can do about that
The pics are taken by a camera, of a TV, showing the 1min promo on the xXx DVD.

Any chance of someone getting the DVD then ripping the promo?? or at least getting better shots?

looks like a cross between a Chryselr Sebring coupe and a Grand Prix. The GTO moniker deserves a much more unique style, imo.

I still think the tri-power big block was the true GTO. These new plastic "toys" that GM is stamping out with a cookie cutter just don't cut it. But, hey, I'm a purist.

kinda like the impalas...once a boat, now an almost-econobox car. They must have done something right...most of the police departments use new impalas around here...

I don't know, I just don't like styling of Holden, great HP but just don't care for the body styling,
it's too gentile looking and I prefer more muscular look.

Isn't the GTO supposed to be a muscle car traditionally? This new 'thing' looks to have as much muscle as Screech.

Yeah, GTO supposed to replace Trans AMs and Camaros but it looks like a damn family sedan more than sport car.

Who gives a crap about it not being a big block? This is the 21st century where emissions controls and fuel economy must be taken into consideration. The Vette engine in this bad boy would skin ANY of the old big block GTO's. Don't give me any of this purist crap either. On the track, the 400 HP/400 lb-ft engine backed up with the 6-speed manual transmission that is going into this mofo will do some SERIOUS damage.

You can talk about the looks all you want, but its drivetrain is no joke.

you're absolutely right!
to make the car even better (come on, it's almost 2003)
they would use a twin turbo v6 or something even better on fuel.
still using a V8 is damn good if you ask me.
it's not even a supercar like the Corvette and Viper.. it's just a Grand Prix.
very healthy engine indeed!!!

Why? Like NFS4 said, this car will be superior in every way... exterior, interior, and power! Think what you want, but it's going to represent everything the GTO was and more.
