Its kinda like, you know how big the stanley cup is in canada, well, most of the europeans, and south americans, and central americans, and africans, and numerous asians are big huge fans of this hockey style game that they play on the grass, but, they use their feet instead of stick!
I believe the chants are magic spells to extend their bladder capacity and delay the need to urinate since they all have like a dozen or so pints of beer in their gullets.And they have to make up elaborate chants to keep themselves awake while they're watching the grass grow.
Germans on Russian soil, of course this isnt going to go well for them
