The Blazers practice squad beat the Lakers this past night. Killer game for anyone who watched it.

Roy - 9 for 11, 32 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists.

Bryant - 14 for 37, 32 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists.

lakers are playing for the ring, while the blazers are playing for a playoff spot. there is a difference in what each team is supposed to accomplish and what is expected. and no, the lakers can't repeat without gasol.

Not to mention Aldridge still is recovering from a sprained ankle and Roy has a pulled hamstring. All the headlines about the Lakers being injured are a joke. The blazers are missing 6 full rotation players and the other 3 still playing are injured too.

Blazers are 7-3 over their last 10 with all the injuries. The Lakers obviously rely too much on two players if one has a messed up pinkie and the other is in and out.

If you don't know who those players are, you know nothing about Basketball. Every one of those players could start for ANY team. Blake and Przy were both starters for other teams. Batum and Fernadez are both elite players in international ball, and Outlaw completely posterizes other players.

Luke Walton is nothing compared to these guys.

Can't wait 'til Kobe's finally gone. I doubt this year will start his descent from greatness....(I admit he's great, I just hate the guy).......but I can start to see it coming.

Hopefully Lebron & co. can get it done this year & he can take his rightful place as #1 player in the NBA.



As soon as Kobe's gone, I can pull out all my old showtime Lakers stuff & try to forget about that little twit.
