Shit like this belongs in the Neff thread, as it holds no real value. There's no news, no meaningful questions, no advice being asked for. Even if you are, the way you word and present these threads, is just god damn ridiculous. The threads bump down actual threads with substance in them, and wastes everybody's time. The only reason to even post in one of your shit threads is to bump one's post count.

go fuck yourself.

You simply cannot respond in this manner.

When I was a poor student in college, I used to eat Veal Parmigiana many nights. No, really!

It was ~$1 for the whole thing! Alas, they don't seem to make that anymore. I wish they made it with chicken instead of veal - I think it would still be very good.

I like the Salisbury steak. I still get them every so often, and they're still $1.

Canned refried beans. You can find 12 - 16oz cans for a little more than $1 around here, regular price, maybe under a dollar on sale. That and some hot sauce and some shredded cheese. For probably $2 you can be full, and as a bonus you'll have lots of farts.

Don't you have a costco somewhere around you and go buy a damn hot dog already?

There's a ton of people at my work who still eat frozen meals for lunch.. every.. single.. day.

Flat bread was always my goto when I got down to nothing.

Get a big bag of cheap flour, and a bottle of vegetable oil. Mix the flour with warm water to make a soft dough, get chunks about the size of a golf ball, flatten them and put a little oil on it, fold it in half and flatten again, smear some more oil on, fold in half again and flatten. wipe oil on the both sides and put it on a hot pan for a couple minutes. If you have salt, toss a pinch in the dough, and other seasonings like rosemary, or dill, or basil, can make for some flavor variety. If the budget stretched far enough I would also get a block of cheap cheese and grate a little on top while it was hot. I could make a half pound of cheese stretch to a week if I was careful.

A 5lb bag of flour and a bottle of oil can last for days even if that's all you're eating.

Mustard sandwiches.

1. Toast two slices of bread in the toaster
2. Spread Miraclewhip on both sides
3. Squirt mustard on one side
4. Put both slices together
5. Eat

It's been my main staple since I was probably 8 or so years old. Family/family friends will see me after a decade of no contact and say, "Hey HamburgerBoy, don't recognize you at all! You still eat those mustard sandwiches?"

Lately I've been liking hard boiled eggs. Mostly rescue eggs. When you aren't sure about eggs put them in a pot and cover with a inch or so of water, those that float are too old, 3 min hard boil the rest.

Cheap eating toys; Rapid Ramen maker, one egg Tfal frying pan.

Del Taco has coupons all the time buy one, get one free on 99 cent bean and cheese burrito, ask what you can add for free, add all you like.

One of my favorites...A cup of red lentils, 1 large onion & 3 large carrots. Boil lentils halfway then add the rest. Done in about 15 minutes. Then lots of butter, garlic, & salt.
