Poor performance with 6850CF

I recently bought 2 6850s along with my new SB system. I noticed earlier that i'm getting poor performance compared to benchmarks floating the net, so i downloaded Unigine and ran some tests.

One card:

I also ran some tests on BC2 using fraps, these are the scores i got:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
15500, 267820, 40, 80, 57.875

I'm running the cards on 16x/4x with the latest 10.12 drivers. I know the performance impact is about ~5% so I don't think that's the problem.

What do you guys think? :'(

840/1080 on both 6850 CF cards.

1370 pts 35 avg min 55 avg 128 fps max on heaven 1080p/16AF/0AA/Norm Tess/

1170 pts 45 fps avg 30 min same settings w/ 4AA.

Just ran it again on normal tess/4AF/0AA and this is what i got:

After the typical, latest drivers, patches, and updates, I'd bench the 2 cards individually. If one is off relative to the other, performance wise, then it would show up and answer your problem. If both perform equally, then it's likely not hardware. Unless possibly both cards are bad, which I wouldn't think likely. Once you eliminate the hardware being the culprit, then you can concentrate on software. Drivers, Windows, etc...

Yeah, something is not right.

I tested at the same settings as you do, 8 AA/16 AF/Extreme Tess @ 1080P :

FPS: 26.5
Scores: 668
Min FPS: 13.4
Max FPS: 64.1

Everything is @ stock settings.

Thanks for checking it out, looks like the score is half of what it should be. not sure if one of the cards is faulty because i'm still getting poor performance even with one card.. btw do you have the same 16x/4x setup?

Yes. I'm using a 16/4 configuration.

Maybe it's best to give us details on your whole rig, hopefully one of us can give some helpful advice.

Asus P8P67, 2500K (stock clocks), Corsair XMS3 4GB 1600mhz, HIS 6850s, OCZ ModXStream 750W and Win7 Pro.

This is really frustrating.
I'll try to test the second card alone and see what happens, i don't think i'll see any improvement over the first card tho

If you don't see a difference, then it's time to look elsewhere. But eliminate the possibility it's a defective card first.

UPDATE;

I just ran some more tests and i'm kinda lost, this just makes no sense.

Crossfire on default settings:

Second card on PCIE 16X:

I forgot to save the benchmark for the first card on 16x, but the results are the same, give or take 1%.

Now for the odd part, Second card on PCIE 2.0 4X:

And again, no point in uploading the scores for the first card on 4x because they're pretty much the same.
I'm pretty confident it's not the cards that are faulty but this makes no sense, shouldn't they perform better when placed on the 16x lane? is this a driver issue? or maybe the motherboard?
