Pop3 Mail?

anyone have a good pop3 mail server? besides yahoo and hotmail, cause hotmail is based on web mail in outlook, and it kinda stinks... yahoo doesn't work for me, i dunno why, i've contacted yahoo support serveral times with no solutions...

i would like something i can use in outlook, something i can connect to a pop3 server...

preferably for free, and without ads, or stupid signatures like 'try hotmail now!' etc...

(btw, my isp has one, but it only allows one account, which my dad doesn't want to share, nor do i, as i have set up internet connection sharing for his puter)

Try hotpop.com, you get a few stupid e-mail ads but other than that its great.

ah hah! hotpop.com didn't work for me...

but www.hotpop.com did stupid dns server
i looked at it, but it can only handle attachments of 1 meg in size... which kinda stinks for large files, prolly pictures i may want to send, good find though, thanks

You may also want to try Mail Options. They have a free server, and it works great for me... don't know how big of a file attachment they allow, though. SDF UNIX is a free UNIX shell, and you can use POP3 mail with them, as well. They have a 20MB disk space limit, but I don't know if that includes e-mail attachments or not.
