people get the seeds because they cant find opiates in their area

and sudafed.. its bought at the counter everywhere now

You can add in other stuff like juice or honey to make it taste better without changing the effect. Supposedly some stuff like grapefruit juice magnifies the buzz.

People steal cough medicine too. At Kmart, and maybe elsewhere, Sudafed must be purchased at the pharmacy counter.

The Sudafed thing is because it can be used in the manufacture of meth. Not that I imagine people were ever really going to the store and buying a bunch of boxes of Sudafed to make meth with, retail is for suckers.

I wouldn't put it past someone...in our grocery stores the poorer people are know to swap jumbo eggs in the the medium packs. The middle/upper class is also part of the shop and eat lunch scam (there have been parents even having their kids 'grab something for lunch'). The problem is they just eat the items, chuck them on a shelf and walk out.

Some middle class worker got nailed for taking Publix Sushi and a 4 pack of mini-wines into the restroom. The deli clerk didn't see her walk out with the sushi or wine visible. He called the front to watch her and sure enough they found the container in the ladies trash along with 1 mini wine. She was actually tackled by the off-duty chief of police.

Doubt it, but also easier to get the poppy seeds than the actual drug itself?
