AIDs was far more prevalent, as with STD, simply because there was no risk of pregnancy, a very underground culture (not the entire gay culture, mind you) practicing whatever the fuck it wanted with much less risk of complications. Plus, men being men, still have the same type of need for sex, more than women in some ways.

Within the porn industry--the same god damn culture all around--there is no fucking reason to try and argue that standards for gay and hetero sex should be different.

you run around the issue. the fact is the gay male population is grossly disproportionate in terms of aids cases. the reason doesn't matter. you don't take a super high risk population and mix it with a lower one.
