Anyone play this yet?

Unfortunately, I could not find a .torrent, so I'm in the dreaded FilePlanet queue.

This is a really nice mod. Very high quality, and very true to the original game. If I didn't know any better I would think it was put out by Valve themselves.

heh, portal alone is a reason to get it..dude all of orange box is awesome.. tf2 and portal alone are worth it.

Portal was indeed an awesome game, but it was surprisingly short. This should help a lot with that though.

It was more or less a tech demo for the portal gun which will probably be in episode 3.

True, but it was very entertaining. In regards to the length, I was just starting to get to the point where it was getting old when it reached the end. Any more and it would have been repetitive/annoying.

Except for the brilliant characterization, level/puzzle design and story. *Yes* the story was minimal, but it was so well told.

Narbacular drop was the tech demo.

Seriously, who's using FilePlanet when you have FileFront and even FileShack, it's beyond me. As for Portal: Prelude, well I can't wait to try it, downloading it as I type this, I wouldn't have known about it if it wouldn't have been for this thread pointing at it, thanks.

Or just google the file name. Find a torrent, or some mirrors.

Well in case anyone doesn't know it yet, there are a Crapload of mirrors now, including torrents. From what I've heard it's more difficult than the original game (which is not saying much, but it will be more challenging nonetheless).

Played through the first 4 levels and yeah, a little more thinking is involved so far.

Definitely more difficult that the original game. There also seems to be more than one way to do some of the puzzles too, which is nice.
