hi guys, i don't know much about cars so just seeking some quick advice.
i just bought a new 4runner and i've put about 500 miles on it. i noticed that when i press my brakes, there's a slight suction/hissing sound. it only happens when i intially press them, not when i continue to push it down. also, if the brakes are partially pressed and i simply push harder its fine. it only happens on the initial pressure.
the brakes seem to be working fine - i don't need to push it overly hard, nor do they seem abnormally sensitive. i'm not sure if this has been going on since i bought it because i just noticed it (usually the windows are open or the radios blaring so i wouldn't have heard it). its just annoying to hear a hiss every time i press the brakes, esp when its quiet. or is this a bigger potential problem?
thanks in advance.
