Possible Death/Bomb/Shooting Threat?

So there is this kid. You know the type, really quiet, no friends, violent, the kinda kid you feel bad for. He gets picked on ALOT and made fun of. I try to talk to him and you know, make him feel good. So anyways, today in the middle of Physics class, he turns around to me and says, "Do you think I'm going to be the next Virgina Tech shooting?" Then I said, "I hope not.", then he started shaking, and I walked away. I tell the office right? What should I do?

EDIT: He was once expelled for breaking a teachers hand.

I'd mention it to some sort of authority, and wear bullet proof armor for the next couple of days.

You don't say anything, you'll probably come out alive when it does happen.

Realistically though, you better say something or it'll be on your shoulders for the rest of your life if something happens and you didn't do anything.

Seriously. Ask the school if the police apprehended him? That would give you peace of mind to return. I wouldn't go back until they found him, now that he knows you gave him away

I felt like that once, but I realized that the people around me are going to be losers. I thought that 98% of the folks around me, the people who listen to rap and look like gangsters/sluts, are going to be working for Mc Donalds for the rest of their lives. I ignored everyone and everything, now my only friend is nature. Friends are people who you should depend on and get along with but they are not required for living a full life. Getting good at things and showing your skills off to the public is a good way to fill the gap of that emptiness you feel inside.

Now I am a manic over achieving things, from studying to story writing. I am only 17 years old and I wrote a 100 page book . You guys wouldn't like it, it has alot of 'mental experiences' that many never really feel.

Being violent for so long has made me a peaceful man; although my temptation for violence can be fulfilled by playing very graphic video games so no one has to fear me lol. If it makes a difference to the statement I'm writing, I have Asbergers (A mental disorder).

The way I interpreted what you wrote is this: He asked if you thought he was crazy. It sounds to me like he was looking for validation that the people around him (like you) didn't think he was as much of an outcast as his own perception of himself. He wanted you to say 'no way', but I think you (unintentionally) helped dig the mental hole deeper that he is trying to climb out of.

you still have lots to learn. you are not mature yet though you may believe you are.

Have you looked into flak jackets, or bullet proof clothing? You might want to invest in some for the next few weeks.
