Possible Enermax 351 problem .

Just wondering if my Psu is just dirty or is going out ? (1.5 yrs. old)

Will too much fuzz in the psu cause a computer to "Freeze" ? Not just freeze for a moment ....... But Freezing as where you have to reboot constantly .

Can you clean one out without any problems ? (tips/precautions ?)


Any insight on computers freezing because of a dirty or faulty Psu would be greatly appreciated .

Well it is possible that it is causing the lockups. As for cleaning it if you feel like getting dirty open up the case and remove PS from the chassis. Then blow it out throughly you can use air in a can or a compressor. If you use a compressor make sure you blow the air through a towel or something first because some compressors end up with water in the tank and you don't want that in the PS! Good luck!
