Otherwise a great deal, but I like smc equipment more(plus you get a print server)

let me preface by saying that i have the smc wireless router and like it, but it is my understanding that the linksys new firmware upgrade allows it to act like a bridge between wireless networks just in case you wanted to share bb connection also the antenna might be detachable unlike the smc allowing for a high gain one to be attached? you need to check to see if this is true and second if it might be of interest to you to allow for extension beyond your home.

BOTH of the antennas are detatchable and (due to that) upgradable on the linksys router. There are some pretty good range on available, of course as distance increases so does price.

someone told me that SMC is made by Intel? Is that true?

I would definitely wait for the SMC. I know a few people that have them, and they don't have any complaints.

I don't think SMC is made by Intel. I think it's some Taiwanese manufacturer (Amit, or something like that??)

I have a non-wireless SMC router too.. works great.. I guess the print server *IS* a good thing to have.. I use it. Too bad there's no good deals on SMC wireless router.
