Possible grade change for me!

After I received my D in one of my core classes this past semester, I put in an appointment to see the prof. of the class. I simply wanted to know why I had gotten this grade. I was sure I was at least getting a C. Well, turns out I had just bombed one section of my final (some C++ code) and that was enough to drop my grade. Since it was such a close call, he decided to let me take a retest over that section! I was damn excited! Retribution!... until he said the most unholy thing he could have.... "I will let you retest over that section... orally."

An oral C++ exam! Yikes... I better get to studying. Its set for next tuesday at 2pm. If I do well enough, he'll bump up my grade. Wish me luck!!!

Oh man... Yeah, I do want that grade changed... hell, I NEED it changed. This class is only offered in the fall, and its a two-part class (the other part being every spring). So, retaking it would mean setting me back a whole year. And I'm already in my 5th!!!

But... I don't think I'm about to bust out the kneepads and/or chapstick just to get a grade, LOL. I'll just change majors!
