Edit: Checked link in OP, just 1 person, was serious offense. However, what seems to be wanted by OP is not reasonable, IMO. A high rate of repeat offense amongst some types of Sex Offenses still leaves many who don't repeat. Should all be punished in perpetuity because some choose to repeat their offense? What is the point of Justice or Rehabilitation if society refuses a second chance?

You really think your kids are safer if a web site saids there aren't any sex offenders living near you? If so you shouldn't. There are no sex offenders in my neighborhood but don't trust my kids to be alone with anyone I dont personally know and even then I'm always aware of whats happening and am suspicious of everything. I would bet that most kids have been molested by someone that has never been on the sexual
offender register.
