I just installed a window in my case yesterday and a small amount of epoxy squirmed its way maybe 1/4in. onto the lexan window...so my question is, can I remove that epoxy w/out damaging the window?
I tried rubbing alcohol with very little success...would paint remover work without hurting the window?
I did such a clean cut and everything but the damn epoxy screws up my pretty mod...I installed my light switch into a 5 1/4in bezel and everything.

Ack! I was hoping from the title you meant epoxy on a heatsink/chip. Not sure if any solvent strong enough to make a dent on the apoxy won't also melt the plexi. Best bet is to get some nail polish remover (its diluted acetone), try it on the back of the window, in an area that is behind the panel. Just wipe it on near the edge... if it doesn't dissolve/discolor the plexi then you should be safe to try it on the epoxy. Lacquer thinner may also work... but try it first as above. Good luck.

After building R/C airplanes for many years and using gallons of epoxy I can say with some degree of certainty that the blob is there to stay. You may be able to use a razor blade and gently cut under it and lift some of the blob off but it will not be clear like you really want it to be. Any solvent that might disolve it would destroy the window unless it is made of glass.

yeah, figured that out with a test piece...the acetone kicked ass on the epoxy but it smeared the window and made it not possible to see through...I should had taken the time to just screw the damn window in....but it's all good, there's just a little around one edge and with the light on it doesn't look too bad. I'm gonna try to find a sticker or something to cover it with, anyone know of a place or idea to get a sticker to go around the corner of a case?

Hey before sticking any sticker on there you could try wet sanding it with 1000 grit sandpaper on the spot that the epoxy has affected.
