And since did Humans ever needed any "gods" to have moral and societal standards to begin with?I don't doubt that's why certain godless types achieve success - aid from evil spirits - despite their character flaws that stand in the way of success. The drunk in the gutter won't sell anyone on a godless lifestyle. Satan needs certain charismatic individuals to prove successful "without God." It's a huge help to satan's public-image-effort if his favored godless dwell in a stable society founded on godly principles, because ... everyone will benefit across the board by the societal standards in place. Yes the wicked CAN prosper, if society is structured according to God's will. No man is an island. A rising tide lifts all boats.
