Naw, I've already marked it out with my laser level. A suspended ceiling will come in at 7' 5" if I make it dead flat all the way across. The only thing holding me back is the $1200 expense and the thought of moving all that furniture to do it. I was actually thinking about renting a tent to put all the furniture in while I put in the ceiling.Originally posted by: Anubis

from the look of it if he put a drop ceiling in to cover everything anyone over 6ft tall would have to duck to walk around in there

I have actually moved the Dell 20.1 inch over and used it with dual monitor, everything else pretty much looks the same.
Please tell me that nice equipment is plugged into some hidden UPS, and not into that power strip on the floor....

Well.. I have been doing it this way with all my equipment for quite a few years, ever since I started into computers.
Never really had a reason to purchase a UPS. The equipment is plugged into two power strips on the floor. Are you referring to if there was a storm rolling over my area? Or just a main power overload for the strip?
I'm not worried about it.

Plus, most power-strups have a $250,000+ guarantee. Unless there's some sort of loop hole (or it's impossible to prove it's the strips fault).
