I figured it out. When you are mid-rotation left go of ctrl-alt and just have the mouse holding the cube in place.

Then it will pork when you press the PrtScn button

I gotta say I'm taking a liking to the mono-based Banshee Player..I like the interface. Very simple and effecient.
