until about two weeks ago I actually was relying on a cellphone data plan that was about 56k in speed, my god it sucked, even with adblockers and flashblock and all sorts of things I set up it was painful to do anything online. The whole net expects you to have broadband now, so no it's not expected or necessary anymore.It feels weird that this thread has no 56k warning, I guess that's not necessary anymore
