An example of Samurize on my desktop.

A really well done Samurize desktop.

It can also be docked into your taskbar.

thats sweet

What a A$$hole you are to post this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You make the If I could slap the SH!T outta list!

I was just going to say the same thing. It stopped opening IE windows after the 68th one. It used up 58MB of RAM for IE alone. If this crashes someone's machine while they were doing something important in the background, they'd be PISSED. WTF is wrong with you muthafu{ker ?!

This would be even better if it would install as a service (NT/XP). I hate having these extraneous systray icons showing up. Anyone know how ?

I love these free system diagnostic utilities (even though I paid for Sandra Pro)!

Aida32 is one I've never seen before that looks promising - it doesn't have the extensive benchmarking capabilities that Sandra has, but seems to give better app/soft/system info.

Get it here!

I think it's a winner!

Just noticed that fieryUP beat me to it one page back!

I can't get Weather Watcher to display correctly in Windows XP. There is no close box and no "OK" box for the configuration window.

Anyone else have this problem?

my favorite app is Phyle's Wallpaper Switcher.
i hate staring at the same background day after day, and have at least 130 wallpapers on my hard drive, various pictures i enjoy

but, changing through them is a pain, of course, so i found this:
http://www.totalshareware.com/asp/detail_view.asp?application=16038

install, set your image directory, and it will randomly change your wallpaper in time increments, from one minute, to startup only, to every 6 hours or so

i get ALOT of wallpapers from:

www.digitalblasphemy.com

havent subscribed yet, always free previews there, and lots of great stuff in the users gallery, the users stuff usually has links to their page, with even more great wallpapers in alot of cases

oh, and terragen is sweet for people who wanna mess around with terrains, can do some high quality stuff
its free, if you register you get expanded features, very easy to use, and has an enormous amount of scenery variables

I haven't seen this one yet, but for all of you that use OE as your Usenet news reader, there is an in-line yEnc decoder. It acts likes a proxy server and does the yEnc decoding on the fly.

Brawny Lads yProxy It's free and works very well.

Utilities:
PuTTy - Great for SSH/Telnet
AltME - An interesting Alternate Messaging System, great for medium sized offices
Rebol - a messaging language for distributed Internet applications that run across all devices.

Fun:
DiveVisions ScreenSaver - Fully 3D, but requires a high-end video card.

Enjoy!

Serv-U - program that connects to 2 different ftp servers at once and makes ftp-ftp transfers possible

Speedfan (I dont know the url) - enables all kinds of temperature measuring - but I use it mostly because it is compact (small) doesnt cause troubles like MBM and can measure HDD temps

There has to be one ignorant pr!ck in every crowd and you're it.
You are completely right. But beware - there may be a lot more than one, and whoops! You might be one of 'em. Oh oh. LOL. Better if you can stand INDEPENDENT of the crowd, folks.
