The Proxomitron Blocks all pop-up windows letting through the good ones and replaces every single ad on a page with a transparent GIF. Can also kill flash, counters, make all incoming cookies sigle session (they get deleted when you close your browser), slince background midi's and you can add your own filters to block other things.

Morpheus could be better if you didn't have to hack it to get higher bitrate mp3's (It would make the quality ones more available). IRC is actually an excellent way to get mp3's, and mIRC just released 6.0!!!

Morpheus also sucks,... yeah... sucks for divx! The best way I've found to get these is with eDonkey2000

Morpheus is a nice simple tool to get small files, pics and general stuff, but there is better options for people who are more ambitious.

Batch Blitz is a very cool and useful proggy that allows you to run multiple batch files to remote pc's on your lan from your pc in an easy to use GUI.
This proggy has literally got to be on your pc if you do any type of lan admin duties. Very Useful!

With all of the trouble I was having with Trillian, I found a program called Easy Message. It doesn't do all of the smileys and graphics, but it is simple and it *works*.

Audio Galaxy - I've used Kazaa, Morpheus, and WinMX. Audio Galaxy is much better in terms of mp3 downloads because I tend to look for hard to find underground Asian music, and for some reason I'm finding buttloads of it on AudioGalaxy.

Ad Muncher is a little program I use for blocking banner ads and pop-ups. Uses very little resources, is about a 65k download, you can add custom filtering to sites, and it doesn't go through a proxy server. Also, it works with IE, Netscape and Opera.
